Cardinal Newman High School was well on its way to launching the initial phase of its legacy campaign in early 2020. Much excitement and enthusiasm surrounded this campaign as it would be instrumental in shaping their future. Things came to a screeching halt as the reality of the pandemic set in. After a brief pause and reprioritizing, Cardinal Newman took to the phones, email, and even Zoom, not to ask for funds, but to check in with students, families, and alumni. In such a difficult and challenging time, it was a comfort to know that the staff of Cardinal Newman cared to reach out.
Once the Shaping the Future campaign was reignited, it started narrowing in on its goals! The campaign surpassed the $10,000 goal raising $10.53 million! Generosity abounds when we believe in our mission, trust in our God and boldly act, even in the midst of crisis.
