Beauty and upkeep go hand-in-hand with any historic church. St. Andrew's Church dominates the skyline of downtown Roanoke and stands as the city's richest and most conspicuous architectural landmark.
After months of thoughtful preparation and campaign readiness, a goal of $3.5 million was established in order to renovate the building's exterior. With the $3.85 million raised, the parish can now address pressing needs from replacing the slate roof and mortar between the bricks to fully sealing and waterproofing the structure to prevent future damage. Even a new lightning protection system can be checked off the list!
